Alberta Grass Fed Beef
My wife, Erica and I (Marvin) moved to the ranch in 2013, initially purchasing the 23 acre acreage. This ranch has been in our family since her grandparents owned it.
In 2018 we were able to purchase 185 acres of land adjoining our acreage. We’ve always been interested in raising beef, so we started doing some research. The idea of raising grass fed beef was something that we were instantly drawn to. The more we researched, the more we began to understand the health benefits of grass fed and grass finished beef. We purchased 15 red angus cows along with their calves of that year, from a local farmer. These cows had always been on grass. We currently have 20 cows. We use rotational grazing to maximize the use of our pastures.
Aside from raising beef, we operate a mental health counselling center at our ranch that integrates horses and other animals into the therapy process for conditions like, anxiety, depression, PTSD, etc. Check out the website for more information. www.bluereinranch.ca
We feel very blessed to be able to live in this amazing setting with our children and all our animals. We are very passionate about what we do and love nothing more than to share this passion with others.

At Blue Rein Ranch we raise English breeds of beef – mostly Angus and Charlois. Our animals are ethically raised on our ranch near Fort Macleod, Alberta. No hormones are used, and all our cows are finished on a grass diet to a minimum of 24 months of age. The beef is processed in a provincially inspected facility, and all meat is vacuum packed to preserve freshness.Error: No feed found.
